WATCH: Jordan Mailata gives epic performance of an Amy Winehouse classic

Eagles lineman Jordan Mailata made an appearance at the Green Parrot in Newtown, PA over the weekend. The musically inclined left tack treated guests to a rendition of Amy Winehouse’s “Valerie.”

Jordan Mailata flexed his pipes and, as usual, crushed it:

I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again; it’s just not fair, man.

This dude is exceedingly talented in too many areas. At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised to find him sneaking into the Penn mathematics building to solve complex equations in the middle of the night.

But, of course, his singing talent is nothing new to Eagles fans. He had a great showing on both A Philly Special Christmas albums and shined in a duet with Jordan Davis at a season ticket holder event a year or so ago.

He was so good on that Christmas album that one of his songs came on shuffle today, and I listened to completion. Only a voice like that can get a misirab like me in the holiday spirit in mid-April.

I’ve reached the conclusion that if Mailata was singing “Valerie” nearby while the Greeks were waiting to strike in the Trojan Horse, the sack of Troy would have never come to fruition. In fact, I guarantee an enduring peace would come about almost instantaneously.
