Eliot Wolf, the Patriots’ current director of scouting, has been serving as the de facto general manager since Bill Belichick’s dismissal and is expected to maintain the job.
Hunt has been with the Eagles since 2022 following 12 years with Pittsburgh, but with Howie Roseman firmly entrenched as GM, there isn’t much room for advancement in Philadelphia.
Former Vice President of Football Administration Jake Rosenberg left the Eagles after 12 years for that same reason.
Hunt previously interviewed for General Manager positions with the Raiders and Steelers and an assistant general manager position with the Bills.
