Phillies Boner 4 Ever City Connect Jersey

The Phillies are red hot for a laundry list of reasons, but the city should also give credit this fan for his custom ‘Boner 4 Ever’ Nike City Connect Jersey

The Philadelphia Phillies are on pace to win 114 games this season. They are 26-11 overall (.703) and hold the best record in Major League Baseball. In the National League East, they have a commanding three game lead over the Atlanta Braves.

Sure. You can credit Bryce Harper catching fire and hitting three home runs (including a grand slam last night) with 10 RBI over the last three games.

You can also credit the fact that even with Trea Turner on the 15-Day IL, the Phillies depth has “answered the call” and has been performing on a high-level.

Alec Bohm just wrapped up an 18-game hitting streak. Nick Castellanos is batting .308 with two doubles, a home run, and four RBI over the last seven games. Kody Clemens, just crushed a 2-run homer last night and then added an RBI triple in his next at-bat.

Fantastic. Obviously.

I would also like to add this custom Nike City Connect jersey into the mix for the Phillies’ red hot performance over the past month.

Phillies Fan gets custom ‘Boner 4 Ever’ Nike City Connect Jersey

Honestly, you can’t really as for a better custom jersey. I often wonder what the folks over at Fanatics are thinking when a new custom jersey comes into the production queue.

Hard to imagine that they knew why “Boner 4 Ever” was requested though, right?

The phrase is the famous graffiti “art” that was done at scale on the side of The Beury Building, the National Bank of North Philadelphia – which could be seen from Broad and Erie.

The infamous “Boner 4ever” graffiti tags, which appeared in 2008. Shift bought the property in 2012, and has been working on redevelopment ever since.

The building is slated to be redeveloped into a Marriott hotel by developer Shift Capital.

Back to the Phillies, they will send Aaron Nola (4-1, 3.32 ERA) to the mound today at 1:05 pm looking to sweep the 2-game series against the Toronto Blue Jays. Nola will face Chris Bassitt (2-5, 5.45 ERA).
