WATCH: Mets get caught in ridiculous rundown double play, prove they’re the dumbest team in baseball

There’s no getting around it, the New York Mets absolutely blow. This was cemented by one of the worst plays I’ve ever seen on the basepaths, resulting in a double play against the Cleveland Guardians.

Jesus Christ… what the hell was that?

They really are the dumbest team in baseball. They just can’t play the game right, and look like total nancies while doing it. I’m looking at you, Jeff McNeil.

Spending all this money to be total ass can’t feel great, either. It’s nonsense all the way down in Queens, and it doesn’t look to be getting better any time soon.

And, trust me, I know dumb when I see it. Ask my girlfriend, I do dumb shit all the time (that I’m very, very sorry for). Mets fans have to be sick of a top payroll team being below .500 this far into the season.

It’s become laughable at this point. Of course, as a Phillies fan, I live for moments like this. But as a baseball fan? It’s almost sickening.

And here’s a brief reminder of where ownership’s head is at. This team is in shambles, and there’s not much they can do about it.
