WATCH: Atlanta Braves outfielder Adam Duvall casually throws a baseball into the stands, knocking down a pyramid of aluminum beer cups

In a post that might shock our loyal readers, I have to give credit to the Atlanta Braves and more specifically, right fielder Adam Duvall after a video of him knocking over a pyramid of aluminum beer cups during Sunday’s game against the Oakland Athletics went viral on social media.

I think it’s safe to say that at times, people forget how many freak-athletes play Major League Baseball players or really any professional sport. Luckily, we have videos like the one below featuring Adam Duvall to remind us all of how talented these guys really are.

In between innings of the Braves’ game against the A’s, fans seated in the right-field Chop House seats at Truist Park built up a pyramid of aluminum beer cups and desperately wanted to get the attention of Adam Duvall to for some target practice. 

Duvall, a “man of the people” acknowledged the fans and then casually tossed a baseball into the stands making direct contact with the aluminum cups – knocking them over much to the delight of the presumed drunk fans that watched their prized pyramid come crashing to the ground.

Elite toss from Adam Duval. Just a casual “no doubter” into the heart of the cups. Again, we’re talking a casual baseball throw up a what…16-foot wall and a few rows back in the seats right into the heart of the beer pyramid.

At the risk of sounding completely un-athletic, it would be one thing if it the target was eye-level but the fact that Duvall got the height and distance down while appearing to do it in such a casual manner with minimum effort is honestly incredible.

I am always a huge fan of outfielders interacting with the fans behind them. It’s such an easy way to gain the support of any fanbase. When you can casually toss a baseball and drill a pyramid of aluminum cups in the process, that’s just icing on the cake.

Shoutout Truist Park and the Chop House

By the way, I rarely have anything nice to say about the Atlanta Braves, their fans, or Truist Park but the fact that they have aluminum beer cups is immaculate.

Every ballpark in America should ditch any type of plastic cups and get on board with what me and the boys like to call a  “drivin’ around cup” – they are significantly better, reusable, and keep whatever bevy you have ice cold until the final drop.

Note: When I say “drivin’ around’ I’m talking about golf carts, boats, bikes, scooters, etc. Well, and sometimes cars but always in a responsible fashion as a passenger. 

Do yourselves a favor, head out to the nearest Target and grab a pack of these bad boys. You’ll thank me later.

Ball should honestly sponsor me based solely on the fact that I have stacks of these bad boys for any occasion. I just made my morning coffee and tossed it in one of these cups with some ice. I’m set until lunch. Smooth sailing, baby.

A plea to the Philadelphia Phillies and Citizens Bank Park

Maybe when the Phillies realize that a healthy Brandon Marsh is an everyday player for this team or that Nick Castellanos will eventually turn things around like he always does when the weather heats up, we can finally get some movement on the greatest idea I’ve ever had.

The Phillies and CBP need to hear me out on constructing “The Marshland” or hell, “Casty’s Castaway Corner” out in right-center field.

Obviously, there will be aluminum beer cups but on top of that, you could have all types of fans dressed up to support the theme while marketing different drinks and food specials. On top of that, you could even add some water guns like they have in “Birdland” down at Camden Yards for the Orioles. Check that out. It’s electric.

I won’t hold my breath. Citizens Bank Park and the Phillies already took away the now infamous Hot Dog Wave and Dollar Dog Nights to control the rowdy crowds down at The Bank so my idea to create something out in right-center will continue to be nothing more than a fever dream.
