Roster Moves: Eagles continue to add to secondary, sign CB with Vic Fangio ties

You can never have enough cornerbacks, right?

Per an official team announcement, the Eagles signed veteran CB Parry Nickerson to their active roster on Friday.

Nickerson, a sixth-round pick in 2018, has spent time with five teams and attended the Eagles’ mandatory minicamp as a tryout player.

His latest stop was in Miami last year, where he appeared in five games for current Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio. Per PFF, Nickerson has played 271 of his 352 career snaps in the slot.

Nickerson is the second corner Philadelphia has added following a successful tryout; they also signed Joey Porter Jr.’s cousin Shon Stephens last month. With the addition, the Eagles are now up to 15 (!) CBs on their 90-man roster.

Across 30 career games, Nickerson has recorded 33 tackles and one pass defensed.
