CORRECTION: Kelly Green jerseys will be worn this year — everyone calm down

Our friends at the Pulp Phiction Podcast caused quite the stir this morning regarding the Eagles adored Kelly Green jerseys.

We dropped a clip from their most recent episode with Darius Slay on Monday, where the Eagles CB told Dunphy and Malik that the team is not wearing the Kelly Green jerseys again this season. Fans, understandably, were upset.

Fans were not happy about this. So much so that some decided to take their anger out on us, calling us a ‘fake media outlet.’ We were just reporting on what the man said; don’t hate the messenger.

The clip spread quickly and before you know it, the Eagles organization reached out to the Philadelphia Inquirer to ensure them that the team will in fact be wearing the Kelly Green jerseys again this season.

Even though Slay said the team wasn’t bringing them back, it never really made sense for them to abandon them like that. They fought for the third helmet rule, the jerseys were a hit among fans, and the team is actively selling Kelly Green jerseys on their website. Slay himself even came out and admitted he really didn’t know whether the team was going to bring them back or not.
