Cringeworthy: Jayson Tatum throws shots at the Miami Heat after the Celtics won the 2024 NBA Finals
Starting with all of his rehearsed celebrations and quotes after the Celtics won the NBA Finals to just about anything you can imagine, Jayson Tatum continues to make a fool of himself every chance he gets.
Many have known me as being a vocal Jayson Tatum hater from the very beginning. I must admit, I started to wonder if my hatred towards him was unfair but this NBA Finals run has proven me to be right from the start.
After Tatum copied Kevin Garnett, Stephen Curry, and even Kanye West, he felt the need to throw shade at the Miami Heat, a team who has routinely embarrassed them when the lights have shined the brightest in the postseason.

Scalabrine: “You guys have been on a lot of hard-fought trips to Miami, was this one a little sweeter?”
Tatum: “They’re always easy.” 👀

This guy is a fool for saying that because the Celtics have lost two Eastern Conference Finals matchups against the Miami Heat since 2020. Tatum is arguably the biggest reason for those choke jobs due to his poor shooting percentages and turnovers.
Look, I get it, this Celtics squad finally won the title. But I’m not for all these extra shots and parading around. It’s funny because it’s coming from the guy who just can’t seem to become one of the actual best players in the NBA without doing the weirdest shit possible.
Remember when he texted Kobe Bryant and posted the screenshot on Twitter?
Jaylen Brown quietly went out there and dominated on both ends of the floor all postseason and brought home both individual awards: the Eastern Conference Finals MVP and the NBA Finals MVP.
There were no fake or manufactured moments, just pure hoops from the Celtics’ best player. Maybe the next step in Brown’s ascension is telling his teammate to stop being such a cornball.
