Per the team’s announcement on Friday, Philadelphia will wear white jerseys with black pants and black helmets.

The Eagles are notably not wearing green in Brazil, as the color is associated with a soccer rivalry between the Corinthians (black and white) and main rival Palmeiras (green and white).
The Packers will wear green as the away team.
Some São Paulo context for the Eagles’ black-and-white jersey combo.

Corinthians, “the people’s team,” wears black. Arch rival, Palmeiras, wears green. City laws prevent fans from wearing green at Corinthians games to cut down hooliganism.
Black endears them to the home fans.
The Eagles wore a similar uniform combination in a 2021 matchup against the Broncos: white jerseys, black pants, and a green helmet.
QB Jalen Hurts stated the new look was his idea.
“I know there’s a big deal about the black pants we wore,” Hurts said. “I take full credit for it. I worked really hard to get [team chairman and CEO Jeffrey] Lurie to try to switch it up a little bit. I appreciate him letting us wear the black pants. I hope the fans liked it.”
The Eagles vs. Packers season opener will be the first-ever NFL game played in South America.
