Roster Moves: Eagles call up practice squad receiver in wake of AJ Brown’s injury
The Eagles are calling up some extra reinforcements with A.J. Brown unavailable for Monday night’s game vs. Atlanta.
Per the team’s announcement, Philadelphia has elevated WR Parris Campbell from the practice squad, along with OL Nick Gates and TE E.J. Jenkins.

The elevation is no surprise, as additional depth was needed with AJ Brown (hamstring) and possibly Johnny Wilson (hamstring) missing tonight’s game.
Campbell signed a one-year deal in free agency to compete for the WR3 job but was among final roster cuts after the Eagles acquired Jahan Dotson from Washington.
He’s a good veteran option to keep around in emergencies, and his familiarity with Nick Sirianni, dating back to their days in Indianapolis, could prove beneficial.
“I’m willing to do whatever the team needs from me,” Campbell said via Dave Spadaro in June. “Just doing everything I can to get better every day, carve out a role for myself, and be part of this team and this offense.”
Chef's kiss, Parris. 😘👌
