Nice: Eagles had a 99% chance of winning with under two minutes to play on Monday night

God help us all. The Philadelphia Eagles pulled off one of the worst choke jobs in modern history Monday night, blowing a 21-15 lead in the fourth quarter against the Atlanta Falcons.

If the Eagles would’ve secured a first down on what should’ve been their final drive, they would’ve been able to run out the clock and get the W. Sadly, that’s not what happened. On third and three, Jalen Hurts rolled out to his right and threw a gift to Saquon Barkley in the flat. Saquon, as I’m sure you already know, dropped the pass, stopping the clock and forcing a field goal.

Kirk Cousins proceeded to drive the length of the field with no timeouts and win the game with a touchdown pass to Drake London.

What makes this even worse than it already is — the Eagles had as high as a 99 percent chance of winning in the fourth quarter. Per Next Gen Stats, the team had a 99.3 percent chance of winning with 1:56 left to play, giving the Falcons 0.7 percent chance at victory.

Eagles blew it in disastrous fashion

I apologize if this ruined your morning. I’ve been in shambles since I crawled into bed last night. Unfortunately, this is just one of those games where you can’t pull any positives from. They blew it.
