Cowboys Giants Pass Interference

WATCH: Cowboys ‘Lost Season’ is saved by NFL Officials with blatant miss on pass interference call

The Dallas Cowboys were so very close to falling to 1-3 last night during Thursday Night Football against their division rivals, the New York Giants.

A game that featured the classic, physical and intense NFC East matchup really lived up to the hype. Ultimately Dallas would sneak out of MetLife with a narrow 20-15 victory.

BAD BEAT: Cowboys’ kicker Brandon Aubrey misses 51-yard field goal, Giants cover on Thursday Night Football

In a game that came down to the wire, one crucial play defined the Giants final drive. With just 3:30 remaining in the fourth quarter, facing a 3rd-and-6, Daniel Jones dropped back and looked for Wan’Dale Robinson over the middle. The connection wasn’t there, as Jones pass fell incomplete, halting any momentum that was left for the Giants.

With that said, I still can’t believe that the refs conveniently missed Cowboys cornerback Jourdan Lewis holding Robinson’s arm before the ball even got there. It’s a crucial third down and the football is literally being thrown to the middle of the field where everyone can see.

How do you not throw a flag for pass interference?

If this were the Kansas City Chiefs, I promise you a flag would be thrown.

Refs miss blatant pass interference in Cowboys vs. Giants

Honestly, if it were the Cowboys on offense, I bet Jerry Jones would have been on the phone with Roger Goodell immediately to prevent the refs from doing their jobs. As we all know, Roger’s bias towards “America’s Team”, has been going on for quite some time.

Robinson did get two hands on the ball, and he had more than enough space there to come up with the catch. Sure, Lewis holding him was a factor, but at the end of the day you have to come down with the football.
