Caitlin Clark hater Megan Rapinoe falls victim to the “Woke Mind Virus”- claims the incident with Dijonai Carrington was racist
Megan Rapinoe is at it again by injecting herself into a conversation in which she simply never needed to be a part of. During a recent uproar over a heated moment in the WNBA involving Caitlin Clark and Dijonai Carrington, Rapinoe claimed that the whole situation was steeped in racism.
Shocker.
This in response to USA Today columnist Christine Brennan’s question/reporting on the eye poking incident between Caitlin Clark and DiJonai Carrington. The reporter simply asked the Connecticut Sun guard if the eye poke was intentional, which seems like a very fair question to ask given the circumstances.
Rapinoe had this to say in response to the Caitlin Clark-DiJonai situation

So, basically Rapinoe is claiming a journalist is “racist” for doing their job?
This wouldn’t be the first time the retired soccer player has tried painting some narrative like this. Not like she has much left, but you can add this to the list of “Credibility Lost” for Rapinoe, who continues to reinforce the notion that she’s only interested in staying relevant and popular among the “woke” community than actually caring about real issues.
Speaking of, those morons in the WNBA, whether it’s the players, coaches, staffers, or owners, have all completely mistreated Caitlin Clark ever since she step foot into the league. Which is a damn shame because nobody really cared about the WNBA until her arrival.
Don’t get it twisted. I mean no disrespect to the many talented women who play in the league and are frankly in a very tough predicament. On the bright side, the league does appear to be growing and there’s never been more people watching the product.
So, to circle back to Rapinoe, who fails to understand the truth of the situation. Whether Carrington intentionally raked Clark in the eye or not is one thing. But to make this a whole social-justice issue when a reporter simply did their job is nuts.
There’s no denying that Caitlin Clark is a generational talent and the savior of the WNBA. The sooner we all realize this and accept it, the better we will all be. Well, luckily for me I’ve known that since day one. A lot of ya’ll are playing catchup.
