WATCH: Lions fan drags Cowboys jersey across Jerry’s World as they suffer worst home loss of this era, 47-9

Jerry Jones celebrated his 82nd birthday on Sunday, and his present would be the Cowboys getting absolutely embarrassed by the Detroit Lions at home. Based off this beatdown, I think it’s safe to say he’s going to be blowing out plenty more candles before he sniffs another Super Bowl.

For almost 30 years, Jones has been telling anyone who will listen that his one goal is to bring another Lombardi Trophy to Dallas. But let’s be real, since 1995, the Cowboys have been nothing but talk.

This Sunday, America’s (most overrated) team got absolutely stomped 47-9 by the Lions. While Cowboys fans will make excuses about playing without Micah Parsons, DeMarcus Lawrence, and DaRon Bland, that’s still no excuse to get beaten as bad as they did.

Lions fan drags Cowboys Jersey across Jerry’s World

As you’d expect, Lions fans were living it up as their team destroyed the Cowboys, but one fan took trolling to the next level. As you saw the Lions fan was dragging a skeleton named “Cowboys Jerry” by fans online. Obviously this symbolized their lifeless performance on the field. But what made it that much better was that “Cowboy Jerry” was rocking a Dak Prescott jersey who ended up getting benched in this game.

Dallas is now entering their bye-week sitting at 3-3, and in danger this season unraveling very fast. It’s hard to really look at them and take them serious given their history and them making Prescott the highest paid player of all time. But hey, they do have a really good kicker, that counts for something right?
