MetLife Curse: Eagles Jalen Hurts faces a new challenge this week that should leave all fans starving for a win

Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts bounced back from a sluggish start to deliver one of his most efficient games of the season in Sunday’s 20-16 victory over the Browns. After missing his first five passes, Hurts found his rhythm, completing 16 of his next 20 throws for 264 yards and two touchdowns. It was his first game without a turnover since November 20th, of last year, when the Eagles beat the Chiefs 21-17 in Kansas City.

Next up for the Eagles QB is a tougher test. Which is securing a win at MetLife Stadium. Believe it or not, he holds a 1-3 record against the Giants on their home turf and a 1-4 overall record, which includes a defeat to the Jets. in the spirit of Halloween and October, one could say MetLife has become a haunted house for Jalen.

In his four games against the G-Men, he has thrown four interceptions and added three more in his matchup against the Jets, totaling seven picks across five games.

Eagles QB makes improvements vs. the blitz

So, it will be two years ago as of this December since Hurts’ only win at MetLife stadium. This was in a dominant 48-22 win over the New York Giants, which seems like ages ago at this point.

Funny enough, Saquon Barkley was on that team and will obviously be lined up as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles. Will it be a revenge game? And will Hurts and the offense carry it’s momentum into this game? Those are the major questions, we are all asking.
