Dan Orlovsky rips Eagles, Nick Sirianni for lack of preparation due to historically bad first quarter offense
ESPN pundit Dan Orlovsky had some choice words for the Philadelphia Eagles on Get Up this morning. The former NFL QB took serious issue with the Birds’ lack of offensive success on opening drives.
Orlovski said the Eagles are the least prepared football team in the NFL, and the stats are damning:
"This is the least prepared football team in the NFL."

22 total yards across five opening drives? Yeah, that’s pretty bad if you ask me or anyone, really.
I knew this team’s first-quarter offense was anemic, considering they’re the only team in football that hasn’t scored a touchdown in the first quarter. And, of course, the opening drive is a massive tone-setter in any game.
That’s usually when the offense does some of its best work because it has its script in place, and the defense isn’t throwing super exotic looks at it while the teams feel each other out. The Birds, however, play their worst football in that time frame.
That works when you play a horrible team like the Browns, but we saw it bite the Eagles in the ass when the Buccanneers pretty much put the game away in the first half. Hopefully, Sirianni & Co. can figure out their first-quarter offense and start putting up some points.
