NFL Rumors: Eagles ‘checking in’ on pass-rush market ahead of trade deadline
Eagles GM Howie Roseman is always inquiring about potential impact-starters looking for a change of scenery.
With the 2024 NFL trade deadline quickly approaching, Philadelphia will likely be buyers should the right deal present itself.
According to Senior NFL Reporter Albert Breer, the Eagles are considered a team that could ‘check in on the pass-rush market’ as the deadline nears.
“He [Howie Roseman] will call on just about everyone. The Philadelphia Eagles are another team that could check in on the pass-rush market.”
Some names who could become available are Za’Darius Smith (Browns), Azeez Ojulari (Giants), Chase Young (Saints), and Raiders All-Pro Maxx Crosby.
After the slow start to the season, the Eagles’ defense has compiled 13 sacks over the last two weeks.
Adding another stud pass-rusher to the group of Bryce Huff, Josh Sweat, Nolan Smith, and Brandon Graham could give them the juice needed for a deep postseason run.
