Roster Moves: Eagles activate rookie WR off Injured Reserve
The Eagles announced on Saturday they have activated rookie receiver Ainias Smith from Injured Reserve, filling an open spot on the 53-man roster just before their Week 8 matchup against the Bengals.

The roster spot opened up after the Eagles placed defensive tackle Byron Young (hamstring) on IR on Friday.
Smith had started the season on IR due to an ankle injury suffered late in training camp. The Eagles opened his 21-day practice window on Oct. 7, giving them a limited time to decide whether to keep him sidelined for the season or activate him.
Now on the roster as the Eagles’ fifth receiver, Smith joins A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Jahan Dotson, and Johnny Wilson.
Smith could also be a punt return option to help limit Cooper DeJean’s exposure to hits.
I’m addicted to watching Ainias Smith. My favorite Eagles pick after Quinyon and DeJean. pic.twitter.com/Y9fp9BFkC7
