The Philly Specials release first single off new album featuring the Kelce Brothers, Boyz II Men

Philadelphia’s favorite Christmas music group The Philly Specials are back with their third and final album, A Philly Special Christmas Party. The super group consisting of Eagles linemen Jason Kelce, Jordan Mailata, and Lane Johnson put out their first single from the album,

The Philly Specials new single “It’s Christmas Time (In Cleveland Heights)” features Jason and Travis Kelce, plus Philadelphia legends Boyz II Men:

All in all, this was a very solid track. The opening harmonies from Boyz II Men were a spiritual experience for me, and obviously they sounded phenomenal throughout.

Jason Kecle crushed it as well. I’m not saying he’s this stunningly talented vocalist, but he can genuinely sing. He’s been getting better each year, and I’m sure he’s had a few voice lessons.

I’m gonna keep it real here… Travis Kelce doesn’t have the sauce. The three-time Super Bowl champ pales in comparison to his brother.

I genuinely had to pause the song when he came in on the first verse and collect myself. Not good.

Even so, it’s great that the two brothers teamed up for a song to pay homage to their hometown. That’s something I can get behind regardless of whether the song is good or bad.

I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what the Philly Specials have in store for this album.
