Saquon Barkley might have just pulled off the single greatest play I’ve ever seen on a football field during yesterday’s Eagles vs. Jaguars game. I’m not entirely sure how or why Barkley is playing at this level so deep into his career, but let’s call it what it is: an absolute home-run free agent signing by Howie Roseman.

Nine weeks into the season, you could argue that Barkley is the best pound-for-pound player in the NFL. The play he pulled off yesterday? Unreal. It started with one of the filthiest spin moves I’ve ever seen, immediately followed by what looked like the world’s first-ever backward hurdle. Are you actually kidding me? I’m convinced those Eagles kelly green jerseys have some sort of magic, because it feels like every game, they deliver a moment straight out of a highlight reel or a movie.

I’ll admit it—I wasn’t originally a fan of this guy’s content. He used to pop up on my “For You” page a lot, mostly trashing my Philadelphia Eagles. I’d seen enough of his reactions to various sports moments to form a pretty sour first impression. But this latest clip? It had me rolling and, honestly, completely changed my view of him.

This one video alone was enough to make me a fan. Now, I’m actually looking forward to seeing how he reacts to more moments from the Birds’ season. Who knows—he might even bring a new perspective to those memorable Eagles plays we love.

And it’s perfect timing because his Washington Commanders are set to face off against our Eagles on Prime Time’s TNF in just a few weeks. With both teams fighting for what could be the top spot in the NFC East, his reactions to this showdown should be pure gold.
