Jon Gruden does hilarious impression of WIP caller ripping him on Barstool stream

Former NFL coach Jon Gruden is officially Barstool’s newest employee and is already pumping out hilarious content. He got well acquainted with Philly sports radio callers during his days an the Eagles OC in the 90s, and shared an all-time story about a classic WIP caller.

“If his IQ was one point lower, he’d be a plant,” might be one of the greatest insults I’ve heard in my life. It just goes to show that Philly sports radio callers have always been brutal.

I’ve always known that to be a fact, but it’s always nice to have it confirmed by a firsthand account of events. This city is truly full of sickos and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

The additional anecdote about the fan ripping him during warmups is just peak hating. I genuinely aspire to hating at that level. Hopefully someday I’ll at least come close to it.

I’d say, “Never change, Philly” but I think it’s safe to say he haven’t and probably never will. And that’s exactly why I love this city.
