Dallas Cowboys are the only American professional sports team to go winless at home in 2024

There are 153 professional sports teams across the five major sports leagues in the United States. Only one of them has failed to win a single home game in 2024 — the Dallas Cowboys.

Seems unbelievable, but it’s true. They haven’t won a home game since December 31 of last year against the Detroit Lions. Their four wins this calendar year have all come on the road.

At the time of writing, Dallas has lost six straight home games. Oddly enough, they actually hold the record for most consecutive home losses in NFL history with 14 straight home losses between 1988 and 1989.

On their current trajectory, they could definitely beat that record. Their remaining home games this year are against the Giants, Bengals, Buccaneers, and Commanders. I wouldn’t be shocked if they lost every single one of those games. That would put them at 10 straight home losses, only four away from their record.

We all prayed on the Cowboys downfall, but I don’t think any of us expected it to be this bad. I’m here for it.
