Report: Eagles pass-rusher Brandon Graham out for season with torn triceps

Thanks to Saquon Barkley’s historic performance, the Eagles improved to 9-2 on the season, but it came with a cost.

Following last night’s 37-20 victory over the Rams, veteran pass-rusher Brandon Graham told reporters he had torn his triceps and will miss the remainder of the 2024 season.

“If I had to go out like this, I gave everything I got,” Graham said in the locker room.

Graham was in the midst of a stellar season, recording 3.5 sacks and seven QB hits through ten games at 36 years old.

He played like a man ten years younger last night in LA, posting two tackles, a sack, two tackles for loss, three QB hits, and a pass breakup.

Graham signed a one-year deal with the Eagles last offseason to return for what he called his ‘retirement tour.’ As of Sunday night, Graham isn’t sure what the future holds.

“I don’t want to go out like this but if it’s pointing toward that, hey, we’ll see,” Graham said. “I don’t know what the team is going to be feeling at that time. But I know for me, I don’t want to go out like this.

I definitely want to be able to finish a whole season before I’m done. But if that ain’t in the cards, I’m content with where I’m at too. I’m just not there yet. I’m like let’s finish this and let’s see how rehab is going and then we’ll go from there.”

Graham’s third-quarter sack on Matthew Stafford moved him into third place on the Eagles all-time sacks list (76.5), trailing only Reggie White (124.0, 1985-92) and Trent Cole (85.5, 2005-14).
