Cowboys cheerleader gets drilled in the head by Brandon Aubrey, which perfectly puts the nail in their coffin this season

Like the Dallas Cowboys fans, one of their cheerleader’s had quite the rough ending to their regular season on Sunday.

Cowboys “generational” kicker Brandon Aubrey had a total misfire on one of his kickoffs during the first half of their matchup against the Washington Commanders at home. This kick managed to completely sail out of bounds and nail one of their famous cheerleaders right in the head.

The poor woman had her back completely turned at the time and clearly was never going to see this coming. Not to mention even expect it in the first place. Obviously kickoffs can sail out of bounds from time to time, but this one felt like it had a target lock on this cheerleader’s head.

Something about AT&T Stadium feels cursed. Whether it’s the stupid curtain they refuse to pull down when the sunlight is beaming into players eyes, Jerry Jones owning the place, or really the fact that the team that plays there always seems to lose in the most dramatic fashion there over the last 20+ years.

If you watch closely, you can see a photographer, who had a chance to block that football, but couldn’t stop it. I don’t want to assume anything, but if the two were single, that could have been the start of a wonderful love story or something.

For what it’s worth, the cheerleader seemed to be in good spirits and didn’t suffer any injuries. Which is wild, because that looked absolutely awful. I must admit, unlike the Cowboys, she took this one like a champ, if you ask me.
