Things That Never Happened: Matt LaFleur saying he can’t tell the media how many times Eagles fans ‘splattered’ his team’s bus with eggs
Just when you thought that Jordan Love put up the worst performance on the Green Bay Packers after he got smoked 22-10 by the Birds yesterday, Matt LaFleur decided to get up on the podium and tell the media about his experience with Eagles’ fans anytime he’s lucky enough to come to South Philly.
Of course, Matt LaFleur lied through his teeth saying that he couldn’t even “tell you how many times” he’s been in Philly and riding an opposing team’s bus and had it “splattered with eggs”.
Why would he do that? The hell if I know. I assume it’s because anything was better than the inevitable comparisons between Jordan Love and Justin Herbert being the two worst quarterbacks in the NFL come playoff time. Regardless, let’s run the tape.
Matt LaFleur Lying to the Media about Eagles Fans:
I really need someone to explain to me why anyone would ever just straight up lie about something that is so blatantly false. It’s honestly fascinating how LaFleur can sit at a podium and lie with a straight face like that. It really challenges the genetic makeup of a person if they are able to do something like that so easily, while literally every other human being on earth knows it’s completely false.
Again, let me remind everyone that in the digital age of social media, if there was a single egg or really any type of object thrown at an opposing team’s bus in South Philly, then it would be the number one trending story across social media, local media, and the national media.
Really, after that reminder, there’s not much more to say about Matt LaFleur. He’s a liar. That never happened. He deserves no credit or further explanation. This is snake behavior.
Can’t tell us how many times, Matt LaFleur? Well, that’s because it never happened.
Not to mention, eggs aren’t cheap these days either. Pennsylvania is one of the lucky states that pays one of the cheapest amounts for a dozen eggs, right around a $4.50 – $5.00 price point. If you live in Hawaii, you’re paying damn-near $10.00 ($9.73 for a dozen). Point being, no one is throwing a carton of eggs at anything outside of a frying pan.
Side Note: Now I’m sitting here trying to explain why Matt LaFleur is full of shit when I already said that anyone with half of a brain knows he was lying through his teeth about Eagles fans.
Shame on me.
Anyways, the Packers were simply outmatched yesterday. Everyone wants to complain about Jalen Hurts not playing well in his first action in nearly a month but all I see is 22-10. That’s a dominant win in the NFL playoffs any way you want to view it, right?
Enjoy the win. Watch tonight to see what team heads to South Philly next Sunday to face the Birds at 3PM. Rams or Vikings. Don’t matter. Go Birds.
