Eagles Lock Down the Future at Center: Cam Jurgens Signs 4-Year, $68 Million Extension

The Eagles officially said thank you to Cam Jurgens for keeping the Kelce legacy alive by handing him a fat new deal.

Philadelphia is locking down its new Pro Bowl center for the long haul, signing Jurgens to a four-year, $68 million extension with $39.4 million guaranteed, according to Adam Schefter. The 25-year-old is now signed through 2029 — and if last season was any indication, this is money well spent.

Cam Jurgens Signs 4-Year, $68 Million Extension

Jurgens stepped in for Jason Kelce and didn’t just survive — he thrived, earning a Pro Bowl nod in his first full season as a starter. He anchored the middle of the best offensive line in football and helped bulldoze the way for Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts all the way to the Eagles’ second Super Bowl victory (third appearance) in the last decade.

And the guy did it all while dealing with a back injury during the postseason. Tough as hell.

Jurgens was originally drafted in the second round back in 2022 as Kelce’s hand-picked successor. He started 11 games at right guard in 2023, got his feet wet, and then took over at center in 2024. Philly didn’t even blink. The drop-off never came.

Now, Cam Jurgens gets the bag, and the Eagles get a franchise centerpiece locked in for the next five seasons. The Jason Kelce era may be over, but the Cam Jurgens era looks like it’s just getting started.
