Phillies get unofficial stadium review from Marlins fan who knows his concrete

Just when you thought the Phillies had seen it all at Citizens Bank Park, a Marlins fan shows up and steals the show — not with a bat, glove, or trash talk, but with… a concrete review.

Yep. Concrete. The walking surface, to be exact.

A Marlins fan — fully decked out in teal — provided a surprisingly articulate breakdown of CBP’s stadium flooring. “Not too bumpy,” the kid explains confidently, adding that “there’s a little cracks, but it’s fine.”

This is actually more riveting than the Phillies right now

This is, without question, the most unexpectedly detailed stadium review to ever come out of South Philly.

To be clear, this wasn’t just a passing comment. The kid legitimately came to Citizens Bank Park, home of the Phillies, and delivered the best infrastructure critique I’ve ever heard. He even threw in a bonus analysis of how it compares to LoanDepot Park, claiming it was “kind of slippery.”

But the best part? He’s not wrong. The concrete at Citizens Bank Park does exactly what you want it to do — no unnecessary flair, no flash, just solid, dependable walking surface. Philly through and through.
