Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley stun at the Met Gala, QB catches flak for alleged lack of chivalry

Eagles stars Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley walked the red carpet at the Met Gala on Monday night, and the Super Bowl-winning duo did not disappoint. They’re already two of the most stylish players in the league, so I can’t say I’m surprised.

Saquon Barkley and Jalen Hurts came through styling, as did Jalen’s newly wedded wife, Bry Burrows:

What a flex by Jalen and Bry, by the way. Not many newlyweds make their first public appearance at the Met Gala.

That said, some viewers were less than thrilled with his reaction to his wife needing assistance with her dress walking over a puddle. I’ve included the video below, and let me just say, it’s overblown.

There’s no lack of chivalry here. He’s a Super Bowl MVP for crying out loud, god forbid he let the assistants do their job. His outfit probably costs more than my car, so I don’t blame him for not putting it at risk.

Honestly, though, this event is missing one Eagle in particular: DeVonta Smith. I know he doesn’t have quite the same profile nationally as his teammates, but it’s no secret his wardrobe is up to the task.

At any rate, it’s nice to see some Philly guys in the national spotlight. Even if it’s at an event as meaningless to my daily life as the Met Gala.
