Obsessed: CJ Gardner-Johnson responds to Eagles claim of trading him for ‘salary cap reasons’
We are now three months removed from C.J. Gardner-Johnson being traded to Houston, and he still isn’t over it.
While addressing reporters on Tuesday, Eagles defensive coordinator Vic Fangio was asked about the trade. Fangio appeared to be on board:

Gardner-Johnson must’ve seen his response as he took to Instagram today and shared his thoughts:

Despite winning a Super Bowl, there were clearly some fractured relationships last year that led to Howie Roseman’s decision to move him.
Gardner-Johnson is a great player on the field, but has always been a handful to deal with off the field. The Eagles likely wanted to get ahead of a potential headache and get younger at the position.
Business is business.
