Eagles Minicamp: Kelee Ringo steals the show, might be favorite to start Week 1

On Tuesday, the Eagles kicked off the first day of mandatory minicamp, and according to Nick Sirianni, every single player was in attendance — a great sign for the defending champs.

Even more encouraging, though, was the emergence of Kelee Ringo. Multiple reporters on the scene said Ringo looked like a lockdown corner, putting the clamps on A.J. Brown and showcasing serious starting potential.

If he plays in training camp like he did on Tuesday he will be the starter in Week 1

I’m pulling for Ringo to win the job. Like Eliot Shorr-Parks says in that clip, Ringo is the most athletic corner on the Eagles’ roster. If he can sharpen his technique and play with discipline, he has all the tools to be a high-level starter in this league.

There’s still a long way to go before opening night, but if Ringo keeps showing out, he’s got a real shot at locking down that Week 1 starting spot.
