Best Eagles road trips in 2025, ranked
The Philadelphia Eagles schedule for 2025 is officially out. While all 17 games are important in an NFL season, Birds fans travel better than any other fanbase, so this blog is dedicated to finding the best Eagles road trips on the schedule so you can start some concrete planning before the season starts.
Here’s a full list of Eagles road trips for this upcoming season:
Before we jump in, I know the prospect of organizing a trip can seem daunting. Fortunately, we at The Liberty Line have partnered with Phans of Philly, the premier organizers of Eagles road trips. They handle everything from flights, to hotels, to tailgates, so all you have to do is make sure you’re at the airport on time and they’ll take care of the rest.
Now that the official schedule is released be sure to bookmark their Eagles road trips page. They have packages for every road trip available now, so be sure to act fast and get your deposit in ASAP.
We have made some great memories on Eagles road trips with Phans of Philly over the years. Plus, we’ve never traveled with them and witnessed a loss, amassing a 6-0 lifetime record dating back to 2022. Here are some highlights.
Not sure which trip you want to go on? You’re in the right place. Let’s get into the definitive Eagles road trip rankings.
1. Green Bay Packers: WEEK 10 · Mon 11/10 · 8:15 PM EST
The top few spots in these ranking were especially tough this year, but No. 1 has to be Green Bay. It’s not the flashiest destination for an Eagles road trip, nor is it the warmest, but Lambeau Field is quite literally the NFL equivalent of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Combine that with the famed hospitality of Packers fans and the potential to go 3-0 against them dating back to the start of last season, and you’d have a hard time convincing me another road trip could top this list.
2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: WEEK 4 · Sun 09/28 · 1:00 PM EDT
Beautiful Tampa Bay. Sure, the Eagles have struggled there the past couple of seasons, but it’s hard to beat a weekend in Florida for some fun and football in the sun.
We were fortunate enough to make the trip down their for the Eagles’ win on MNF in 2023, and it was some of the most fun I’ve had with Phans of Philly to date. Clearwater Beach is a perfect place to booze and catch some rays with friends, family, or your degenerate coworkers at the fastest growing blog in Philadelphia.
Coco’ Crush Bar is a must-do if you like orange crushes with fresh-squeezed Florida oranges. And if that’s not appealing to you, I can’t help you there.
3. Los Angeles Chargers: WEEK 14 · Mon 12/08 · 8:15 PM EST
We’ve made the trip to Los Angeles two years running to watch the Rams, and both years were a fantastic time. This year, the Birds take on the Chargers, who are one of the more entertaining teams in the AFC year in and year out. Plus, a trip to sunny California in December certainly isn’t the worst idea.
Sure, LA is fine, but it’s the tailgate Phans puts on that’s the star of the show. A ton of different food vendors and bars dotting the parking lot make it a fan-favorite year after year. It’s more like a VIP section than a tailgate, but full of psychotic Eagles fans.
4. Buffalo Bills: WEEK 17 · Sun 12/28 · 4:25 PM EST
We’re now entering football sickos territory. I understand a trip to Buffalo in late December doesn’t sound appealing on its face, but they have one of the only fanbases that can rival Eagles fans both in passion and insane tailgates.
This a true Eagles road trip if there ever was one. Venturing to hostile territory in the freezing cold and trying to beat the Bills on their own terms sounds absolutely exhilarating. You’ll definitely need to bundle up for this one, but the experience will be more than worth the price of admission.
5. Kansas City Chiefs: WEEK 2 · Sun 09/14 · 4:25 PM EDT
Super Bowl rematch in Kansas City? Sign me the hell up.
We took the trip to KC back in 2023 and, while the weather was miserable, the Eagles pulled off the win. Plus, their fans might be crybabies on Twitter, but they are another city that truly knows two things we all care about: football and food.
Arrowhead is also the site of the most polite fight I’ve ever seen at a game. These college-age kids sitting behind were talking smack to us all game, but after the Eagles prevailed, shook our hands and said “it was an absolute pleasure, but if that guy two rows down in the Jalen Hurts jersey says one more thing to us, we’re going to punch him in the face.”
Lo and behold, that fan mouthed off, and our newfound friends made good on their promise and cleaned his clock. It was weird to be rooting against one of our fellow countrymen on an Eagles road trip, but that’s exactly what happened.
6. Minnesota Vikings: WEEK 7 · Sun 10/19 · 1:00 PM EDT
Minnesota is in no way interesting to me, but there are two aspects of this trip I find particularly appealing.
First is that their stadium is both incredible and the same building in which the Eagles claimed their first Super Bowl win in 2018. Second is that their fans are complete losers and watching the Eagles beat them at home would be an absolute pleasure. Sounds like the perfect Eagles road trip to me.
7. Dallas Cowboys: WEEK 12 · Sun 11/23 · 4:25 PM EST
Ahhhh, Jerry World. I was tempted to slot this higher on the list mostly because I’m so morbidly curious to see that hulking monstrosity for myself. There is also something to be said about the thrill of being behind enemy lines.
Regardless, we’re in Dallas every year until either the league folds or the heat death of the universe occurs, whichever comes first. My money is on the latter. As far as Eagles road trips go, I’m not in a rush to get there.
8. New York Giants: WEEK 6 · Thu 10/09 · 8:15 PM EDT
Terrible. If you want to watch players get injured by horrendous turf, this is the place for you. Sure, it’s nice to watch the Eagles beat the Giants in their own house, but MetLife is basically a concrete mausoleum where ligaments and tendons go to die.
9. Washington Commanders: WEEK 16 · TBD
Yuck. We scraped them off the bottom of our shoe like a cockroach in the NFC Championship Game, plus their stadium is disgusting. Not a place I’d like to spend an Eagles road trip.
Merrill Reese is right. I’d rather die. Josh Harris can go to hell as well.
