Landon Dickerson isn’t worried about a Super Bowl hangover, says 2024 Eagles team “no longer exists”
Eagles guard and Certified Big Fella Landon Dickerson is officially done talking about last season’s Super Bowl-winning team. With training camp beginning this week and concerns of a Super Bowl hangover looming, he took the opportunity to put that worry to bed, saying last season’s team “no longer exists.”
Landon Dickerson is right, you can’t have a hangover if you don’t exist:

There have been many times when I’ve had a horrific hangover and wished I didn’t exist. The Eagles are smart to get ahead of any hangover and wipe the slate clean early.
It’s a very poetic, philosophical statement from Dickerson. Clearly, he’s been around winning before at Alabama, and he’s growing into a role as a leader on this team, just like the front office hoped he would.
This has been a universal message from the Eagles’ locker room since the start of training camp. Jalen Hurts and Jordan Mailata have said the same, and I have no doubt this philosophy is coming straight from Hurts and Sirianni.
Winning a Super Bowl is obviously great, and the 2024 Eagles were the best team in franchise history. But true dynasties are built by constantly retooling and replacing players, and sustained success can only be achieved through a comprehensive philosophy and winning culture.
Based on the quality of the replacements Howie has brought into the building and the strength of the locker room culture we see on display, the Eagles are poised to do just that.
