WATCH: Caleb Williams throws a hissy fit after embarrassing himself in training camp drill

I’m praying for Chicago Bears fans this morning. Caleb Williams, the one who’s supposed to save the franchise and return them to relevancy, might already be cooked.

We’ve already heard about head coach Ben Johnson freaking out on him during practice, and now, we have this embarrassing clip of Caleb Williams throwing a hissy fit.

I understand that Bears fans really want to make this work. Johnson is supposed to be an offensive genius, there are legit players all over the team, and Williams was one of the best QB prospects of this century. Take it from an Eagles fan who tricked himself into believing in Carson Wentz — you guys should brace for the inevitable failure here.

The guy just doesn’t have the grit to be a successful NFL quarterback. In layman’s terms, he’s soft. We saw it in college, we’ve seen it in the pro’s. Don’t overthink it. It’s never worth your time.

Not to mention, Caleb Williams shared what his goals are for this season with the local media in Chicago:

“Being the first 4,000-yard passer in Bears history, that’s a goal of mine,” Williams said Tuesday, via the team’s official website. “Seventy-percent completion, that helps the team, keeps us on the field, puts us in better positions. And then other than that, just trying to go down and score the most points that we can with each drive that we have. That’s kind of my self-goal, and obviously other than that, you’ve got to go win. That’s success for me. That’s success for the team. That’s all we wish for and I wish for.”

Notice how he didn’t even mention winning until the very end, like it’s just some automatic afterthought. And yeah, sure, it kind of is a given. But it’s also the only thing anyone in that locker room — or any locker room — should be focused on. He’s the complete opposite of Jalen Hurts, and I thank God every day that Hurts is the Eagles’ quarterback.

There are no personal goals in football. Nothing else matters. Caleb doesn’t see that, therefore, he will fail. It’s really as simple as that.
