WATCH: Scottie Scheffler makes shot of the year to seal BMW Championship victory
Scottie Scheffler just added another ridiculous highlight to what’s already been a historic run as the world’s best golfer.
On Sunday at the BMW Championship at Caves Valley, Scheffler found himself clinging to a one-shot lead over Robert MacIntyre heading into the par-3 17th.
He missed the green, left himself buried in some thick rough, and looked destined to sweat out a nervy up-and-down.
Scottie Scheffler’s Incredible Chip-In for Birdie
Scheffler popped his chip onto the front of the green, let it track across more than 80 feet of slope, and watched it disappear into the cup. The crowd went nuts, and just like that, what could’ve been a momentum swing turned into a dagger.

The Difference-Maker
MacIntyre had been pushing, even cutting the lead down with some steady play as Scheffler battled short-putt issues earlier in the round.
This was vintage Scottie Scheffler. He managed to shake off the misses, hit the shot only he can hit, and rip the tournament away in the moment it mattered most.
Both players parred 18, giving Scheffler yet another victory and another reminder of why he’s untouchable at the top of the golf world.

The Scottie Scheffler Run Continues
It’s been just over two years of complete dominance for Scottie Scheffler, and somehow, he still finds ways to raise the bar. Whether it’s winning majors, torching fields tee-to-green, or pulling off chip-ins that defy belief, the guy is rewriting what we expect from the No. 1 player in the world.
