JJ McCarthy is trying to be Jalen Hurts it seems

Following an electric fourth quarter comeback from JJ McCarthy and his Vikings Monday night, he dropped some bars. Unfortunately, I can’t help but respect it.

This is straight out of the Jalen Hurts manifesto.

To be honest, I don’t hate it. More quarterbacks should be like Hurts. If you squint, you can see a little bit of Hurts in McCarthy. Mostly because of how he was talked about coming out of college — doesn’t have many wow traits, but the guy is a winner and a leader of men.

If McCarthy channels these Chinese proverbs into more wins, Vikings fans will love him just like we love Hurts. And maybe, another fanbase will finally understand our love for our quarterback, even though he doesn’t throw for 300 yards every week.
