Eagles vs. Chiefs Week 2: Props, Picks, and Why This Rematch Might Get Wild
The Eagles are back in Arrowhead for a Week 2 rematch with the Chiefs, fresh off their Super Bowl LIX beatdown where Jalen Hurts walked out MVP.
Philly’s 1-0. Kansas City’s 0-1 after Justin Herbert diced them up in Brazil. Both teams have had extra rest. Both teams need to make a statement.
The lines are tight so this feels like one of those games that’ll swing on big plays, which means props and anytime TD bets are where the money’s at.

SET FIRE TO THE KINGDOM: Everything you need to know about Eagles at Chiefs
Eagles vs. Chiefs Props We Like
Tyquan Thornton Over 29.5 Receiving Yards (-114)
The Chiefs are out of bodies. No Xavier Worthy, no Rashee Rice, no Jalen Royals. That leaves Marquise Brown, Travis Kelce, and…Tyquan Thornton. The dude played 72% of snaps last week and already showed his speed with a 38-yard catch. Adoree’ Jackson is the weakest link in Philly’s secondary, so all it takes is one big catch to cash this.
Kareem Hunt Over 35.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards (-112)
This number is just too low. Hunt grabbed 38% of KC’s snaps last week, and Andy Reid clearly trusts him in pass pro and short yardage. Philly’s defense looked solid Week 1, but they still gave up chunk runs. Hunt won’t need much volume to clear this line, and he’s live as a check-down outlet for Mahomes if Carter and Reddick get home.
Grant Calcaterra Over 2.5 Receptions (+110)
No Dallas Goedert. That’s the story here. The Eagles love their tight ends, and Calcaterra has quietly caught 24 of 30 targets in his career. Chiefs just got worked in the middle of the field by Gerald Everett and Donald Parham. This is sneaky good value.
Anytime Touchdown Picks
Jalen Hurts (-120)
The tush push is undefeated. Hurts ran for two TDs last week and has scored in 13 of his last 19 games. He also put two on the board against KC in the Super Bowl. If you’re giving me Hurts to score at near even money, I’m betting it every single time.
Kareem Hunt (+260)
KC might need him in the red zone. Philly let Dallas backs find paydirt twice last week. Hunt had 7 TDs last season despite a part-time role, and he’s already in line for 8-12 touches. At +260, that’s worth a shot.

Matchups That’ll Decide It
- Jalen Carter’s Revenge Tour: SpitGate overshadowed Week 1, but Carter still got pressure. He’s already had five pressures in two career games vs. KC. Mahomes knows he’s coming.
- AJ Brown Bounce Back: One catch last week. That’s it. Expect at least 8+ targets in this one. His next touchdown will be career number 50.
- Thornton as the Burner: KC needs someone to stretch the field without Worthy. If Thornton hits a deep one, it changes the entire game.
The Chiefs haven’t started 0-2 since 2014, but they’re thin on weapons and coming off a rough defensive showing.
- Hurts Anytime TD (-120)
- Calcaterra Over 2.5 Receptions (+110)
- Thornton Over 29.5 Yards (-114)
If the Birds finish this one off, it’ll be because Hurts once again proved why he’s the most reliable bet in football: when the stage is big, he finds the end zone.
