Free Marketing: Flyers need to follow in the Anaheim Ducks footsteps and put Bernie Parent masks on every seat in the arena

I’m not one to offer free marketing and advertising advice to anyone. When you have the brain of a marketing genius, then you should expect to pay for such services. There’s a reason why The Liberty Line has grown into an absolute machine. We don’t offer free ads or advice. Pay up or shut up. That’s showbiz, baby.

However, today I’ll break from my code of ethics and hand the Philadelphia Flyers the marketing opportunity of a lifetime. I can’t even take full credit for the idea but with a few quick updates, the Flyers can accomplish the same viral marketing campaign as the Anaheim Ducks and have the entire Xfinity Mobile Arena sold out in a matter of seconds. 

For Ducks Opening Night, they put a duck mask on every seat inside the Honda Center. The giveaway had fans BEGGING to get into the arena and its as easily the biggest crowd in franchise history.

The Flyers should do the same with the infamous Bernie Parent Goalie Mask

Bernie Parent is rightfully being celebrated within the Flyers organization this season following his death last month. The Flyers have patches on their sweaters and hung a banner in the rafters at the Xfinity Mobile Arena. They even give away his signature mask in the locker room after wins.
