Cowboys get clowned by Jason Kelce and Troy Aikman following their embarrassing loss to the Cardinals on MNF
What a glorious Monday night. Truly one for the books. Before we even get into the specifics of that Cowboys disaster on national television, let’s take a moment to appreciate just how perfect the bye week was for the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Packers lost. The Commanders lost. The Giants lost. The Cowboys got humiliated in front of millions. And now the Eagles are sitting pretty atop the NFC East and in striking distance of the conference’s top seed. You could not script it any better.
Heading into Monday Night Football, the Cowboys had a chance to right the ship. It was supposed to be their “statement” game. Instead, they got pantsed on live television and made a mockery of themselves in the process. It was such a disaster that Jerry Jones somehow managed to make things worse after the final whistle.
Weird: Jerry Jones announces Cowboys made a trade but won’t tell anyone who it’s for
In true Jerry fashion, he went out and announced that the Cowboys made a trade… but refused to say who it was for. Read that again. The owner of the Dallas Cowboys pulled off a trade and wouldn’t even tell anyone who the player was. Just pure comedy.

Troy Aikman, who has never been shy about criticizing his old team, didn’t hold back. On the postgame show, he deadpanned, “He may want to cancel that trade.” Absolutely savage. Meanwhile, Jason Kelce was on that same broadcast, and you know deep down he was loving every second of that meltdown.
Jason’s the ultimate pro, but come on — he’s sitting there as a Super Bowl champion watching the Cowboys implode on national TV. You can’t convince me he wasn’t fighting the biggest grin of his life under that desk.
At this point, the rest of the NFC East should honestly just pack it in. The Eagles are the reigning, defending Super Bowl champs and once again in firm control of the division. While Dallas is trying to figure out who they even traded for, Howie Roseman is out here playing 4D chess — adding Jaelan Phillips, Jaire Alexander, and Michael Carter II in one week.
The Cowboys’ biggest move was shipping Micah Parsons out of town to prove some kind of point, and somehow they managed to make themselves worse in the process. Jerry Jones really thought he was the smartest guy in the room. Turns out he was just the loudest.
How’s that going for ya old man?
Now the Cowboys are spiraling, the fanbase is melting down, and the Eagles are getting healthy and deeper across the board. The NFC East runs through Philadelphia, and that’s not changing anytime soon.
Oh, and Dak Prescott? He’s still ass. Absolute, certified, repeat offender-level ass.
