Micah Parsons strangely celebrates losing to the Eagles in social media rant
Alright, I’m just going to say it. I’m glad the Philadelphia Eagles didn’t get Micah Parsons. The guy has a total loser mentality and I don’t want him anywhere near the winning culture we have here in Philadelphia.
After losing to the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football, the Green Bay Packers edge rusher took to Twitter to do a little damage control as I like to call it.
My guy Colin Cowherd called him out on his show after Parsons had yet another underwhelming performance in a big time game.
Colin Cowherd vs. Micah Parsons
😂😂😂😂 We just held Saquon Barkley to 60 rushing yards, and our only losses have been holding teams to 13 points! Man, sometimes can y’all? Please stfu and enjoy great defense! Why do you think teams come into the games that were going to run the ball on 3rd and long? What… https://t.co/Npp3TNxjJ4

Here’s where Colin was right.
If you’ve ever watched his daily talk show you’d get the reference. There’s definitely a point to be made when the best edge rusher on Monday Night Football wasn’t Micah Parsons, but rather the Eagles newest trade deadline acquisition, Jaelan Phillips.
This won’t work, Micah Parsons…
Game Ball: Jaelan Phillips was absolutely ridiculous in Eagles debut >>
The funniest part about all of this is that Parsons kept referencing “we” in his response. Meaning the Packers defense as a whole because his individual statistics just aren’t there, especially not in the big games.
Not to mention, the biggest hole in his game has always been run defense.
Shoutout Skip too.
Point being, while guys like Skippy and Colin Cowherd may just be a talking heads, they are not entirely wrong here.
I still think the strangest part of Parsons response here is he’s basically celebrating losing, like there was a moral victory for containing Saquon Barkely. Things get even more ridiculous when you realize that “containment” came from literally tripping Saquon to stop him from breaking off very long dagger of a run late in the game.
Full Stop: This is the complete opposite of the AJ Brown situation
I know how the rats crawl. So we’re going to take a little extra time and highlight something that is going to be talked about all week here in Philadelphia, which is the ongoing AJ Brown displeasure… if you’d like to call it that.
The difference between AJ Brown and Micah Parsons is obviously night and day.
One player (AJ) is never satisfied even after winning. He wants to dominate, he wants the football. The other player (Micah), always has excuses and whines like a little baby on social media after his team loses. He did it in Dallas and now he’s doing it in Green Bay.
Glad we’re all on the same page.
