Paul George expected to make season debut vs. Clippers
Sixers veteran forward Paul George is finally set to make his season debut in tonight’s game against the Clippers. He underwent arthroscopic knee surgery – or as I call it, “the Sixers Special – in July, and is ready to take the floor to face his former team.
Paul George is back in the lineup for Nick Nurse’s Sixers after rehabbing his left knee:

The final piece of the Sixers’ roster puzzle is sliding into place. Well, that would be the case; Joel Embiid is already banged up, and Kelly Oubre and Adem Bona are out as well. But, hey, the NBA regular season is a marathon, and we’re only midway through November.
Admittedly, I don’t expect much from Paul George in his first game back. In fact, I expect very little from him at all this season. Sure, that’s my Sixers negativity talking, but I’m rarely wrong when it comes to things like this.
This is his first game since March 4, when he went down with a knee injury. Maybe some of my negativity stems from the Sixers giving a 35-year-old a 4-year, $212 million contract after missing half his games in the worst season of his career.
While I’m rarely wrong when I doubt this team, I’d love it if he would come out guns blazing and prove me wrong. Will that happen? Almost certainly not. But a boy can dream!
