Sixers fans leave 5-star reviews for Joel Embiid’s knee surgeon after his athletic resurgence

In case you missed it, Joel Embiid is officially back. The Sixers’ big man is moving on the court in ways we haven’t seen in years, capping it off with an alley-oop dunk for the ages. Fans are obviously ecstatic and have taken to the internet to thank legendary orthopedic surgeon Dr. Jonathan L. Glashow for his work bringing his knee back to life.

Fans are leaving Dr. Glashow 5-star reviews, thanking him for Joel Embiid’s athletic resurgence:

If you’re unfamiliar with the situation, there’s a strong chance you’re befuddled – even dumbfounded – by Sixers fans’ sudden affinity for an orthopedic surgeon. And to that, I say, he’s the best orthopedic surgeon in the country, you halfwit.

But I’ll forgive you. You probably missed the alley oop that will serve as a turning point for this franchise in Embiid’s later years. Just look at this majesty.

And another angle for good measure.

I genuinely cannot believe my eyes. Embiid is back, moving like his old self. Even earlier this season, most fans thought he was completely washed up, and for good reason.

Now, Sixers fans can watch their franchise talisman for the last decade turn back the clock and play meaningful, impactful minutes. But, honestly, that’s the selfish way to look at it.

What’s most important is that Joel Embiid is having fun playing basketball again. The past few years have been brutal for him with injuries, reporters throwing his dead brother in his face, and a city slowly souring on their once shining superstar.

I couldn’t tell you the last time I saw Embiid play with energy like this. Obviously, this took a ton of hard work and rehab for him to get back into shape like this, but none of it would have been possible without the steady hands of the miracle man himself: Dr. Glashow.

So, yes, Sixers fans love this man. I love this man. He breathed life back into the knees of Philadelphia’s favorite son, and thus, back into the 76ers franchise as a whole. And for that, we will be eternally grateful.
