76ers to bring in Oklahoma guard Austin Reaves for workout

The 2021 NBA Draft is just over a week away, and there is a lot of intrigue surrounding who the 76ers will target with the 28th pick. Yesterday, it was reported by Keith Pompey that the Sixers would bring in Oklahoma guard Austin Reaves for a workout on Wednesday. During his time with the Sooners, Reaves was first-team All Big-12 and led Oklahoma in points, rebounds, and assists.

Philadelphia has several routes they can go during the NBA Draft, needing depth across the board. Austin Reaves is known for his shooting and would likely be a solid replacement for Furkan Korkmaz if the 76ers lose him in free agency.

Currently, the 76ers own two picks in the draft, the 28th and 50th selections, but they could be on the move depending on how the situation with Damian Lillard goes. During Morey’s first draft with the 76ers, he did a tremendous job taking Tyrese Maxey, Isaiah Joe, and Paul Reed.
