We must stop these tyrants from ruining Dollar Dog Night at Citizens Bank Park

We started with the people in South Philadelphia trying to break the world record for the longest hoagie. Then there were the cheesesteak pizza people followed by the bizarre looking Philly cheesesteaks from New York and London. Now, we have the a realty group threatening the sanctity of the Phillies Dollar Dog Night.
As I scrolled through Twitter minding my own damn business, this popped up on my timeline. Octavia Hill, posted what seems to be a promo regarding the Phillies Dollar Dog Night. You’re probably wondering what in the actual hell is going on with this hot dog in the photo. I am too.
Look, I know this isn’t as bad as the other culprits linked above, but it certainly isn’t the way you put condiments on a hot dog. I couldn’t even tell you what the light sauce is but it’s certainly not mustard. Just the way the condiments were applied to the hot dog is terrible.
Octavia Hill says they are “Philly’s Trusted Housing Partner” but one look at this picture tells a different story. I don’t trust anyone who dresses a hot dog like that. Imagine sitting next to someone at Citizens Bank Park and they are eating this hot dog as sauce drips all over their fingers and face. Disgusting.
Maybe I’m too conservative, but give me a line on spicy mustard and possibly some relish or onions if I’m a million beers deep at a Phillies game. Kyle from Everything’s Phine is doing a dollar dog hot dog eating contest at Citizens Bank Park in honor of Dollar Dog Night and National Hot Dog Day. Should be pretty solid content.
Full Disclosure: I was honestly hesitant to even link Kyle’s promo after he ditched DSGN Tree, without any type of notice, to create his own Etsy shop like a housewife selling bracelets. DSGN Tree did countless hours of free design work for him and managed his store for the last two years. Not a word from Kyle, but I digress.
