Rich Paul hates America, reportedly wants young 76ers player out of Philly with Ben

Known Russian asset, career saboteur, and Adam Silver lackey Rich Paul has made it clear that Tyrese Maxey will not be allowed to lay down roots in Philadelphia just yet. This report comes on the heels of Ben Simmons’ bombshell, yet equally unsurprising, trade request today.
Maxey was in the process of partnering with some of Philadelphia’s charitable organizations when Paul pulled the plug. As Ben seems to be on his way out, Rich Paul no longer wants anything to do with the city. As Maxey’s agent, he let Tyrese know he may not be in Philly much longer.

This is a classic Rich Paul power move. He does this in every city where he has an unhappy client. Rich Paul has a ton of sway in the league solely because he is LeBron’s childhood best friend.
Hell, this dude only gets clients because he is a clout agent. If you get signed by Klutch, you are considered a different tier of player. In reality, Rich Paul is not nearly the intelligent super agent as he thinks he is.
I would not be surprised if people around the league felt the same way. They have to be sick of his shit by now. I know I am.
If you think about it, this is a serious dick move from Rich Paul as well. Philadelphia was hit harder than many cities by the pandemic. Any help at all, even if cut short by a trade away, would be an incredible gesture.
Instead, no, Rich Paul is whipping out his Anthony Davis playbook once again. While I didn’t like how AD left, I understood it. The Pelicans let him down horribly. Meanwhile, Ben Simmons has been letting down Philadelphia and its fans since he was drafted. And this is from a longtime Ben Simmons apologist.
Ben’s complete lack of self-awareness aside, this Rich Paul guy is a seriously slimy character. This dude rode LeBron’s coattails from owning a local DH Gate franchise to an NBA agent. Now, I would never point out that someone didn’t go to college as an insult. (Unlike most Reddit commenters).
Instead, I will use as an example of Rich Paul’s character is his current lawsuit with Nerlens Noel. In the case, the former Sixers draft pick claims that when the Dallas Mavericks offered him a contract worth tens of millions of dollars, Rich Paul told him to turn it down. Rich then didn’t answer any calls from the 76ers during the 2018 free agency, and Nerlens only found out they were interested after the fact through then head coach Brett Brown.
After that, Paul could not be reached by the Sixers, essentially screwing Nerlens out of a big payday that would have set his family up for life. Not exactly a great look for Paul.
Wait just a minute… Let’s take a look at the ingredients of this cosmic gumbo of a shitshow.
We have:
- The pettiest, slimiest agent in the NBA
- also undergoing a lawsuit caused in part by…
- The Philadelphia 76ers
- A disgruntled, entitled client that hates the city
- A young player the Sixers front office and fans love
Wow, I wonder if there are any ulterior motives for this move? Hmmm. I’m just a dummy, and even I see some strange things at play.
If I can pull a Kevin McCormick and read the tea leaves here, I think Rich Paul is trying to screw over the team for confirming the facts of Noel’s case. Initially, he wanted to use Ben Simmons, who wants out anyway, as a way to hurt the city. When he realized we hate his guts already, he turned to Tyrese.
Rich Paul is trying to rip out his enemy’s heart, just like Putin taught him back at KGB training school. Since he cannot physically do that to each Sixers fan, as much as he would love to, he must do it with our golden son: Tyrese.
