Brian Dawkins can now add author to his lengthy resume. B Dawk announced that he is releasing a new book named “Blessed by The Best” that is releasing next Friday. Dawkins biography, co-written by Michael Bradley, will detail his beginnings all the way through his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

“Like the Phoenix rising from the ashes, Brian Dawkins’ life story is one of constant renewal and rebirth. Often the underdog and challenged by mental health struggles early in his career, he could have easily been pulled down the wrong path. Instead, the guiding presence of his family, friends, and faith served as a constant beacon of light along his path to becoming one of the most feared competitors in the NFL and an exclusive member of the NFL Hall of Fame.”

Several Philly stars have been releasing their own books the last few years, including former Eagles head coach Doug Pederson. Another popular book was Yaron Weitzman’s “Tanking to The Top” about the Philadelphia 76ers and the process. Dawkins is a fantastic speaker who has an incredibly inspiring story, so this book is sure to be a must-purchase.
