Former Eagle Eric Wilson has found a new home

Former Eagles linebacker Eric Wilson is on the move. Yesterday, the Houston Texans claimed Wilson off the waiver wire, sending him to arguably the worst team in the NFL. Wilson was a healthy scratch last Sunday and was let go after the trade deadline so the team was off the hook for his salary.
Houston must be in desperate need of depth at the position. According to PFF, Wilson is the second-worst linebacker in the NFL in rush defense with a grade of 26.7 and the eighth-worst overall. Philadelphia benched Wilson alongside captain Alex Singleton for Davion Taylor and T.J. Edwards against the Lions and it was a much needed breath of fresh air.
Philadelphia looked immensely better with their new starters last week, but this week against the Los Angeles Chargers will be the true test. For Eric Wilson, the Texans play the Miami Dolphins in a crucial battle for draft positioning in the upcoming NFL Draft.
