Jake Elliott named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 11

The Eagles have another standout performance for the second straight week, with Jake Elliott being named the NFC Special Teams Player of the Week. Elliott stepped up big time against the Saints, making four field goals and a total of 16 points during their 40-29 victory.Â
Last week, Darius Slay won NFC Defensive Player of the Week, and Elliott is the second Eagle to win on special teams this season, with T.J. Edwards getting it earlier this season. Jake Elliott has been tremendous in 2021 and has found his groove after an embarrassing showing last year.
Hopefully, this hot streak will continue when the Eagles travel to New York this Sunday to face the 3-7 Giants. The wind and weather could impact kicking as it gets colder, but nothing has affected Elliott just yet.
