Injury Report: Update on Miles Sanders and more ahead of Wild Card matchup

With three days remaining until their Wild Card game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Eagles once again have 12 players on their injury report.

The good news is only one player missed today’s practice compared to four yesterday.

Eagles Injury Report for January 13th

Josh Sweat

Sweat was inactive for the second day in a row due to an undisclosed illness. Missing two practices is concerning, but hopefully, it’s just a precautionary measure. Since nothing has been said this week, Sweat should still be good to go this weekend.

Offensive Line

Things are looking up for the Eagles’ O-Line, but it’s not great. Nate Herbig and Andre Dillard were still limited, but Landon Dickerson was a full participant. Lane Johnson was limited with rest and a knee injury, but he will be good for this weekend. Herbig should play also, but it could be a different story if he’s still limited tomorrow.

Miles Sanders

Sanders practiced today but was spotted with a wrap on his broken hand. If he was practicing today with the broken hand, it’s a good sign Sanders will play against Tampa. Sirianni said earlier this week he was hopeful the Eagles’ top running back would be available for their first-round matchup.

Tampa Bay

Yesterday, Tampa Bay activated several key players off the injured reserve list, including running back Leonard Fournette. After suffering a scary injury this weekend, Mike Evans practiced today as a full participant. Tom Brady didn’t practice, with the Buccaneers giving him the day off.

The final status report for both teams will release tomorrow afternoon, but things are looking good for the Eagles. Josh Sweat looks like the only potential inactive, but he will hopefully play through his illness.
