Fraudulent Behavior: Barstool runs the same kid with a sign out to strip clubs in the city, claims Philly is ready for Harden

It should come as no surprise, that after another big event in Philadelphia sports, outsiders are doing everything they can to create content. Honestly, I respect the hustle, but time and time again there’s one group that consistently irritates me with their fraudulent behavior. If you haven’t guessed by now, I’m talking about Barstool Philly.
Dating back to last Sixers’ season, these nerds have consistently pushed false narratives by using the same guy over and over again as a “Philly fan” posing with signs around the city.

Quick Backstory:
After the original article was posted, the bozo messaged me and was upset because I called him a fraud and a Russian KGB agent. The kid said he didn’t care about that but then tried to tell me that my article was inaccurate and he wasn’t working for the Sixers and that we should “go easy” on the organization because they were “dealing with a lot right now” and if I wanted the “real story” I could have reached out to him.

Lol. No.

So of course, I had to tell Derek from Barstool Philly, a Pottsville, PA resident that I do not give a shit about anything he says and that I actually manage the corporate sponsorship between RushOrderTees and the Sixers and they do not care either.

Why I do not like it:
This guy stinks. Just my opinion. I don’t like him and honestly I’ve been waiting for him to do another thing pandering to the fanbase and pawning it off like he was just a fan and not doing his job for Barstool Philly.
Time and time again, they run this dork around the city with signs like “Sixers in 7” and “Sell the Team” pawning him off to “stoolies” and general Philly sports fans as just some random kid. I have zero clue how no one seems to pick up on the fact that its literally the same guy over and over again.
This time, the dork is posing outside of strip clubs with “Welcome to Philly, James Harden” signs, while Barstool tweets and posts pictures on saying “Philly is ready for Harden.”
This shit is so corny. I’m sorry. It just is. Just like their t-shirts. Everything about Barstool Philly drives me nuts. To be clear, I do like Smitty and Rone. They are solid and are genuinely nice guys, but the rest of the losers that work on Barstool Philly content just come off as fraudulent and over-calculated.
Barstool Philly has a history of stealing content directly from The Liberty Line and a bunch of people who post Philly-related content on the internet. Nothing they do is actually original. When they do have their own idea, this is the type of shit they give us. Planned photos of the same kid, posing with another stupid sign. Cool.
These are the same dudes that have deleted and reposted merch drops after they were hammered with replies on Instagram and Twitter tagging The Liberty Line and DSGN Tree saying our shit is better. I’m talking random accounts and people unaffiliated with The Liberty Line.
Today, they dropped these shirts.
Go ahead and buy one if you want to support the Boston company, or you could get a Philly original from The Liberty Line here. Totally up to you, I don’t care either way.
For all the Stoolies, who continuously get mad whenever I write about Barstool, I promise you, I do not care. The majority of you are a bunch of college nerds and I assure you, Dave Portnoy isn’t going to hire you because you yelled at me. So save your comments.
To Be clear, I’m not doubting this dudes fandom and I’m certainly not gatekeeping in any type of way. Just say you’re a Barstool Philly employee. What’s the point of doing all these dumb photoshoots of you out there as a “fan” when you’re just getting paid to create content.
It’s fine dude. No one gives a shit anyways.
