The Factory Lives: Eagles sign big-armed QB to UDFA deal

The Philadelphia Eagles have signed Nevada quarterback Carson Strong to an undrafted free agent contract, according to Kirsten Moran.
The 6’4, 22-year-old threw for over 4,000 yards and 36 touchdowns this season in just 12 appearances. Some considered Strong to be the top UDFA available following his unfortunate slide. Philadelphia was linked to him earlier in the draft process, with both sides speaking during the 2022 Senior Bowl.
Strong is seen by many as a pocket passer with a strong arm. He can sling it and is overall well rounded but lacks mobility and has some accuracy issues.
Earlier this off-season, Strong was projected as an early day two pick, but most of the quarterback class fell, with Kenny Pickett being the only one to go in the first round.
The Eagles have been working the phones following the conclusion of the draft, scooping up several UDFAs, including cornerbacks Josh Jobe and Mario Goodrich.
